What you will be doing
The Parts Manager directs and coordinates the activities of personnel engaged in selling and distributing parts and supplies.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Establishes policies and procedures to maximize inventory security and minimize loss.
  • Builds loyal clientele and fosters good relationships with customers.
  • Assists General Manager with setting and obtaining sales and profit objectives.
  • Helps prepare and administer the annual operating budget.
  • Collaborates with the Accounting Department on all accounting schedules related to the Parts Department.
  • Assists with collecting past due accounts.
  • Works with other department managers to resolve interdepartmental challenges.
Education and/or required experience:
  • Familiar with parts operations, shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with ADP preferable.
  • Strong math and computer skills.
  • Strong time management skills, ability to effectively handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Positive attitude / self-motivated; works independently to resolve issues and problems as well as ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to prioritize and work well under pressure in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
